Cold weather = Cold option. *Sigh*

We have worked out that chickens don’t get cold and cows do! This sudden change in weather has the one in her element, and the ‘udder’ one freezing! Nevertheless, Chicken was looking forward to supper that would make her all warm and fuzzy on the inside. But it was not to be! Tonight Royal Sechaba was offering mutton stew or chicken (again…) that just looked a bit fishy. oh, no, wait. That was the tuna sandwich that Chicken ate! Oops!

And we’re not even going to go into the tomato issue again.

When breakfast doesn’t de-liver!

The infamous chicken livers were up for grabs this morning on the menu… But yours truly took a wide berth and headed straight for cold option!

Credible (sort of!) sources at res say that they’re quite good. Yes, well, no, fine. Or not!! Somehow, I just get a better peace of mind walking out with a tub of good ol’ strawberry yoghurt clutched in my hand. And a plastic spoon from the dining hall, but you didn’t hear that!

Sweet and chewy!

We have success! Syrup on the French Toast is now given in generous amounts! No more dribbles of the luminescent yellow stuff, but decent amounts! We needed the sugar to get through Thursday. Let’s just say that the Maths test was a bit of a cow last night (sorry, Moo.. couldn’t resist!)

And then we were on neutral ground for lunch – tuna bake! No chicken or beef for a change!

Riddle for the day: What’s red but you can’t see it?
