“Spartans! Ready your breakfast and eat hearty, FOR TONIGHT, WE DINE IN HELL!!!” (King Leonidas in the movie ‘300′)
Chow and Chicken has offically hit the 300 mark of hits. We are honestly blown away. And we just thought that this quote would be fitting…

The Duo heard that there was a huge Economics test on this evening. Perhaps the wise students can answer our question: Where does Sechaba get their supply of chicken from?
Tonight there was southern fried chicken – a leg and thigh per person. The maths students should find this one a breeze (We did it without a cowculator): If there are 5000 of us eating supper, how many chickens are needed? For one meal?
[Super-Moo says Sechaba is economical and will maximise the utility from each chicken (chicken pies. chicken livers. chicken casserole...). You have a point]
But just think about how often we have chicken. Where are all these chickens coming from?!
Put aside your happy thoughts of free-range chickens, dearies, and dig in to your supper. Pull off the oily skin and hack away at the meat! Or go straight for the greyish, soggy cabbage. Your choice!
The pudding at supper was fairly non-descript. Note: The custard was so much better than that that C & C attempted last weekend. Appreciated!

Chicken is currently risking life, limb and feather by blogging from an Upper Campus computer lab. *Looks over shoulder nervously*
I think I’m alone now…
My mouth is watering for the tikka chicken for lunch. Yes, this may classify as cannibalism, but Chicken likes this chicken, ok? Of all the (millions) of forms of chicken I’ve eaten this year, this one is probably in the top 234.
Next week I will try the meatballs. Note to self: They’re called ’meat’ balls. Does anyone know what sort of meat specifically…? It could be anything. Ugghh. Disturbing image. *Blocking it from my mind*
Perhaps the hopeful thought of pudding tonight will get me through this loooong afternoon.

They say that once it’s chance, twice it’s coincidence, and third time it’s a pattern. Today was #2, so hopefully the syrup generosity becomes a regular feature - I guess they have to make up for last term’s stinginess. today also marks the first repetition of food since the start of this blog – now soon we can start comparing…
Being Chicken, I am also on the prowl for any poultry-related food. It’s my speciality, what can I say? But, alas, my eggs-ray vision was on the decline this morning, and I couldn’t detect whether the boiled eggs were, in fact, boiled, or cooked beyond all colour and protein-content (you’d be surprised).
You could say that I just wasn’t in the mood to be disappointed. Anybody care to let us know what was inside the shell (apart from yolk and albumen, doofus)?
But lunch looks pretty decent… On the menu, at any rate. See you later for some chicken (again!)
