Whoa! Stop right there. The title of this post is not eggs-rated. *Blocks image* It is simply Chicken trying to explain about the – ah, forget it.
As usual, Sechaba is serving chicken. The plate of food was quite colourful – scarily so, in fact. Yellow rice, bright red sauce and golden brown sauce. And salad, if you’re that way inclined. We’d rate it about a 0/10 for originality, 5,5/10 for texture (Too dry) and a 7,5/10 for aesthetic attraction.
The gemsquash was anaemic tonight, and Chicken is having weird cravings for broccoli. However, Sechaba must think that this vegetable is too insignificant to feature on the menu.
So, if there is a tragic headline in the papers tomorrow, know that it was me boiling some broccoli in my kettle…

Chicken stumbled upon a previously unheard of species of Sechaba food at breakfast this morning. Locals in DiningHallville go by the name of Bacon Rosti (English for, uh, bacon thing served at breakfast).
Herewith follows our interview with various villagers:
Chicken: So, what exactly is in this ‘Bacon Rosti’
Head Sechabologist: Do you want to know the ingredients?
Chicken: No, I’m not that desperate. Just the general idea, please
Head Sechabologist: Er, bacon (*You don’t say…*), potato, and some other things.
Chicken: Righto. Moving on. *Moves on to interview a Sechabee* What do you think of this new species of food?
Sechabee A: It’s not horrible, but it’s definitely not nice. It’s rather dry.
Sechabee B: We think it’s a close relative of a species of Quiche or Savoury Pie, but are not sure yet. Definitely some genetic mutations and malfunctions though
Chicken: And you, Mr Scientist in the corner? What is your opinion?
Scientist: *Chew chew chew*

So I managed to sleep through supper. Just my luck, as I had to slurp on cup-a-soup instead. In retrospect, that may not have been a bad option. I heard there was fish and potatoes again tonight, which then requires a fair amount of serviettes to blot off the (way too much) excess oil! Moo to that!
*Sigh* Chicken, what do you think of all these people trying to figure us out? I’m telling you folks, we’re out at YOUR dining hall, watching YOU happily or drearily munching away on Sechaba cuisine and you will never be able to track this Chow and Chicken duo down. So cluck on that!!
See you bright and early in the mo0-ning!
Cheers
