We have our first crisis tonight: Chicken vs Super-Moo in the war of which food was good, and what was just plain nasty.
Chicken really enjoyed the cabbage (once we got past the visual un-attraction). Chow detests cabbage, and refuses point-blank to comment on it.
In the word of Chow, the mashed potato was, ‘Light and fluffy and happy and free”. Chicken is amazed at this statement - it was definitely only average.
We’ll compromise on the chicken – the taste was rather good, to be honest, but it was a tad oily and Chicken’s chicken was a little tough. It would have been awesome with sweet chilli sauce though. Chow and Chicken pose the question to all reses: Is there a general shortage of this condiment? (Go look up this word before you confuse it with something else…).
That’s a wrap for our Saturday menu… Enjoy your night, y’all!

Sechaba has magic toasters. Where else in the world is it possible to (completely) burn the one side of your bread while leaving the other side entirely white, soft and ‘raw’? So much so for toast with scrambled eggs this morning…
Chicken used to feel embarrassed at not being able to make toast. Now, I have realised that it is an acquired skill and one of the many mysteries of Sechaba…
