We’re back-baaaack!!!! (in pure chicken style). We hope you have been surviving the measly portions, the extra fries and chicken with your oil and the over-all ambience of the DH.
Lucky for me, the greener pastures is all what it is promised to be! This means that you no longer having to schedule your entire day around meal times, you get to choose the healthier alternative (or not!) and you get to gobble more than eight slices of bread per meal time. Aaah the joys….
Don’t get me wrong, though, enjoying your meal in solitary confinement can be quite rough at times too!! Especially if you’re used to the cheerful bustle of the DH. Then there are those days when UCT ploughs you in the deep end of the water trough and you end up dismally searching every nook and cranny for anything that resembles cooked food. K, not THAT drastic- there’s still 2-minute noodles that comes to the rescue!
On a more serious note, we’re setting up some major improvements to the blog. This includes publishing some easy-to-make breakfasts, lunches and suppers for those who are challenged at the fine art of cuisine or for those who are simply overwhelmed by work and other such things of importance. Please let us know what you think? And we’re open to suggestions:)
